This is it, my first post. Hopefully the first of many, but I’d like to take the time to talk about my feelings on looking for an agent, and why I decided to make this website.
First, agents. For any of my fellow writers, you know what the pain and dread of trying to find an agent is like. Spending hours crafting the perfect query letter or synopsis and sending it out only to have to wait weeks or months for a response, probably a rejection. All that, and some want you to have a platform to promote your novel from the get go. How is it that I’m supposed to have a fan base of devoted followers as if I had already been published if getting published is exactly what I’m trying to do? A frustrating and circular problem if there ever was one.
So that’s where this website comes in. It may take months or years, but this is my attempt to garner the attention of even the smallest corner of the internet. A catchy blurb, an excerpt of my book “Time’s Bridge”, and my thoughts on artificial intelligence, a small offering for sure, but I had to start somewhere.
Finally I want to throw to you, the reader. What do you want to see? Do you want another part of my book? Should I talk more about me and my journey? Or is science and technology thoughts and news more your speed? Feel free to comment below, but try and keep things positive, I don’t need this turning into 4chan or something.
